Workshop Registration

Please read the following Terms and Conditions before you complete this form.

1. Research staff and research higher degree students of The University of Queensland (UQ) are eligible to attend the UQ Research Commercialisation workshop.
2. Research higher degree students must obtain approval to attend the Workshop from their supervisor before making the application. The supervisor may be notified of the application and requested to provide confirmation that the applicant is eligible for consideration for a place at the Workshop.
3. Applications will be treated as an Expression of Interest as the number of applications may exceed available spaces.
4. Applicants who have not previously attended a UniQuest workshop will be given priority.
5. Successful applicants will be notified by email.
6. Workshop participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the Workshop and at their own cost.
7. Participants accept that parts of the Workshop may be filmed and photographed for promotional purposes and consent to UniQuest’s use of that footage for promotional purposes. Commercially sensitive and confidential information relating to UQ technology disclosed by Workshop participants will not be included in promotional footage.
8. Workshop participants will be asked to sign a Confidentiality Disclosure Agreement to allow their project to be discussed at the Workshop.
9. Participants consent to their personal information being collected and handled in accordance with UniQuest’s Privacy Policy.
10. Participants consent to UniQuest providing their name and dietary requirements to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre for catering and event management purposes.
11. Confirmed participants who are unable to attend the Workshop agree to notify UniQuest by email.
12. Confirmed participants who do not attend the Workshop and who do not notify UniQuest of their absence at least three (3) days prior to the event will be charged an administration fee of $220.
