Takeda Pharmaceuticals COCKPI-T 2022 Call for proposals now open

Takeda is pleased to announce a Call for Proposals for COCKPI-T Funding 2022, which is tailored to accelerate the translation of early-stage, groundbreaking research from UQ innovators toward the clinic.

The 2022 Takeda COCKPI-T (Co-create Knowledge for Pharma Innovation with Takeda) Call for Proposals invites submissions that address novel therapeutic targets/concepts or innovative platform technologies within Takeda’s areas of Interest, outlined below, clearly providing the rationale for competitive advantage over existing therapeutics or technologies. Click here for more detailed information on their focus areas of interest.

Takeda will provide awarded therapeutic projects with funding up to ~AUD $109k (including overheads) for one year and AUD $55k (including overheads) for platform technologies.

This program provides UQ researchers with the opportunity to work closely with Takeda’s drug discovery experts to build robust preliminary proof of concept (PoC) in the hope that Takeda can eventually join forces to together develop therapeutics of the next generation.
