Jane has been UniQuest’s General Counsel since July 2017 after leading The University of Queensland (UQ) Research Legal team for more than a decade.
There she provided expert legal advice and strategic, complex and high-value solutions to the UQ research community including support for university commercialisation. Prior to her role at UQ, Jane was a University of Technology Sydney Senior University Lawyer and the Director of Legal Services at Griffith University.
Before entering the higher education sector, Jane was a Commercial Officer for Rio Tinto and practised as a commercial lawyer in Sydney, London and New Zealand.
