Technology business incubator and accelerator ilab has welcomed Australian cloud computing and storage company, Ninefold, to its growing list of program partners.
Ninefold will provide Cloud Booster packs (free cloud computing services) to all participants in ilab’s recently launched ‘Germinate’ program.
UniQuest Managing Director, David Henderson, said the sponsorship was a valuable addition to the range of new services ilab has to offer Queensland technology-driven start-up companies.
“Ninefold, ilab, and UniQuest share a passion for driving innovation-based ventures, and having a great company like Ninefold working with us is a real endorsement of ilab’s new approach to supporting emerging Queensland enterprises,” Mr Henderson said.
Ninefold Chairman and Co-founder, Peter James, said the flexibility of Ninefold’s cloud services was a good match for the needs of ilab incubatees.
“Ninefold the Australian Cloud Technology company is proud to support ilab and its early stage high-tech companies and entrepreneurs. The ilab Technology Accelerator and Business Incubator will create investor-ready Queensland and Australian companies which are well-positioned to successfully compete on the world stage. Ninefold is pleased to play its part in this venture,” Mr James said.
Expressions of Interest are now invited from candidates interested in ilab’s Germinate Program, which offers competitive grants of up to $20,000 for Queensland entrepreneurs with business concepts or early technologies to commence Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development and marketing.
