The Business Development Manager/Director will be responsible for the identification of venture investments, licensing and collaborations for QEDDI’s therapeutic drug development pipeline. The ideal candidate will have prior business development experience in biotech/pharma, a strong scientific background to manage technical due diligence, ensuring a thorough understanding of the potential of each opportunity.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone with business development experience who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment.  It is a dynamic role with significant career and company growth potential.

The role will be responsible for leading the business development activities related to QEDDI and will be expected to manage all aspects of business development, including the identification of new projects and business support across the project pipeline.

Join UniQuest as a Business Development Manager/Director for QEDDI and you will:

  • Lead the business development activities for the QEDDI projects including market research, packaging, pitching and negotiation of licence, collaboration, and start-up deals
  • Identify potential partners for partnering (licence) or investment through business networks
  • Identify commercial opportunities for QEDDI, develop and support strong partner relationships
  • Negotiate and execute deals with partners, meeting or exceeding business goals and objectives
  • Provide general business support for QEDDI’s ongoing operations and future expansion.

You will have prior business development experience in biotech/pharma, a strong scientific background to manage technical due diligence, ensuring a thorough understanding of the potential of each opportunity.
